Blue Odyssey
Oil on Canvas, 22” x 28”

Painting abstracts was an experiment. When I created Blue Odyssey I was playing and exploring with colors and shapes. Painting it was so different from creating my other works; nothing was planned. The paint, color and shapes just took form. It was fun to see what my intuition drove me to create; to see what emerged and later to see if any of the shapes were recognizable. I was amused to find, that as it was developing, shapes took on particular meaning evoking emotions I hadn’t expected.
